I just thought I would get some feedback on my setup I just did in my 94 sl2.
I put in an Clarion CD/mp3 player. I forget the model number. It has been in 3 of my cars. Works Perfect for me. I sold the iPod connector I used to have on it. It does sirius too. $190 close to 2 years ago when I bought it.
I bought some low end speakers for the doors and back of the car. $40 a pair. Sounds decent for the price. Was very surprised in the sound when I turn off my amp.
I put in a Clarion 500 Watt Dual Voice Coil 12" sub in a generic 14" box. This thing really puts out some sound.
Also I installed a Prestige Audio 1000 watt mono block Amp to power the sub. It has a manual sub control knob to adjust the power on the fly. This is mounted in the center console right underneath the power window buttons.
I love this setup for what I paid for it. I got the amp and sub used off a friend for $150 6 months ago. It was a steal to say the least.
I have pictures of the sub and amp and radio in my 99 civic. If you are curious I can snap a few of it inside the saturn. What do you think?
