Default Custom Interior

Well just started to do my interior today. The factory colors were brown and tan. Changing my interior to yellow and black. Here are the pics. Tell me what you think.

Default Not bad looking

Have to admit, when I first read your post I was thinking bumblebee colors...lol. But that yellow is much more subdued and looks good. You should post more pictures with a bigger view of the interior so we can see the overall effect better.

Yes I admit it I am not a yellow fan at all, but that did turn out really nice. How much money have you put into this, I have heard some custom jobs can run real pricey.

So are you going to share with us how you did all this so cheap and savvy like? It does look really nice, even with that just being a cell phone picture.

That is a rather nice shade of yellow (although I thought bumblebee's color was nice too). It definitely looks good so far. How much time have you spent on it so far? I know these types of things can be done on a budget but time is money as well.

I'm going to take a guess here that it is painted? Hence it only being $10-15 plus the time it takes to do it.

Well I used a yellow krylon fusion for the yellow and black krylon fusion for the black. And no i just didnt spray it and wait for it to dry and then stick it in. I sanded each part down, rub rubbing alcohol on it (wait for it to dry), put one coat of krylon fusion on (wait 24 hours so it all soaks in and drys) and than keep putting on one coat a day (I did this for a period of 4-5 days)...than after that put a coat or two of Clear Wheel Coating on (also wait a day to dry). And finally I put the parts in that I've done. It is a long process I use BUT its worth it.

Oh I totally agree, and I didn't mean to suggest you just sprayed and that was it. Doing that would lead to pain that chips easily and generally a big mess. But painting of some kind was the only way you could feasibly do it for that price.
