Cool New to the fourm

Hi all I am knew here but I have a couple of ?
first of all My 99 SC1 eats up oil, when running if i put my hand over the oil cap hole i feel alot of air pushing out and I was wondering if that means i need to replace the piston rings or if there is a bigger issue. I dont want to get rid of her cause i like 2 door coupes and sats are a nice looking car.

second can a newer engine fit under the hood i was thinking about getting a newer turbo.

thanks for the help.

P.S. another problem with spinning the tires is replacing them so often.

what do you mean by newer engine? Like a the ones found in an ION? If so; the answer is yes. However it would cost a lot of money. From what has been discussed here and on other boards, the cost of the swap may not be worth the gains you get from an ION Motor.

I have an eagle talon that the body is shot(got rearended) the motor is great turbo aswell. Do you think I could squeeze it under the hood using the tranny and drive drain frome the eagle?
