Default 2003 L200 Replacing Speakers

I own a 2003 L200. Right now I have the stock speakers, but with the sub woofer package installed in my car. I have honestly spent about the past 6 months on and off trying to find information about the speakers in my car. Now that warm weather is around the corner, I really wanted to get on upgrading my speakers.

My question: What size speakers does my Saturn rock? I used Crutchfield, and it told me that the rear speakers are smaller and odd sized compared to the front. Why would Saturn do that? But my main concern, is I do not want to drill holes for tweeters, so does anyone know the size of the tweeters in the door? And if after market will fit in these holes.
If anyone upgrading there speakers on the same car it would be really helpful to tell me what you bought and what custom mounting you had to do. Thanks.

well a typical 61/2" speeker will work in the front and 51/4" for the rear will work, as for the tweeters, I do beleave theyer 2" wide. you don't really need to replace them if you do not want to. most aftermarket speekers have highs built in to hte speeker "2 way, or 3 way" I would suggets some pioneers. theyer fiarly cheap depending on the modle and have a nice sound..

I have an ION.. however, you could just be like me, and remove the rear speakers all together, and use the money you save to just run great speakers up front.
