Default DIY Paint

I am wondering if anyone has attempted this before and what the outcome had been. A friend of mine tried this with an old camero he had and ended up thinking he had everything covered then realized there was a small crack in his garage door that allowed air in and dust settled into the paint.

I am thinking maybe I could get a used Saturn and repaint it, but I am wondering what all will be needed (besides an air tight room).

Yeah, you don't want an airtight room (fumes). You want a room with a fan ventilating to the outside, you also need to pay more attention to the prep work than anything else or it will show. Are you going to buy a sprayer, or roll on some house paint?
