Crutchfield says they dont fit, but why?

How deep are they?
You can always go with the 6012i's those fit and sound great

I hope you're not planning on connecting those to a normal CD player, or the stock deck. With a 2-Ohm impedance, you'd fry the deck.
An amplifier would run them fine though. I'm running 2 Ohm front speakers (Orion HCCA Millennium 6.5"s) and love them. I'm doubting the depth would be an issue at 2", but you could always add spacers like SouthPole mentioned.
