| Ray ~ why would someone import it?
1) one of the first of it's kind in the USA
2) they have too much money
3) it's got ALOT more HP then any that would make it to the USA. (Why do you think they imported that skyline for 2f2f? because it's not something you SEE every day)
We're not sure if it's RHD or not. Doesn't matter anyways. There's a dealer in Canada who sells them. Also if the guy had enough money it's VERY EASY to have a RHD Conversion done.
Question for you?
How long have you LIVED in japan? |

| Chill man...All Im sayin is that unless it was RHD its not really a big deal. Either someone with a G35 changed the tail lights and the badging, or it came from somewhere that doesnt have thge Infiniti nomenclature(Im presuming only the US does ) In essance, its jsut not really a big deal, same engine, suspension, even the same body work as the G35 coupe, cept they call it a Nissan...
Reminds me of guys with Acura integras that change the badging and call them hondas |

| "not a big deal" well that's your opinion. We thought it was pretty darn cool to see a SKYLINE in York, PA. I'm sure to the guy it is a pretty big deal, considering he's prolly one of VERY few people driving around with one. |

It might leave a little residue to clean up before applying the new badges. And I just noticed, not only are the bumpers the same, so are the wheels
i will give you one thing Mike, although they look completely the same, its guaranteed the engine is probably different, now that I think about it. I dont think they even use the 3.5 engine in Japan. Its probably the 3.2...It could be the turbo 3.0 but it dont think theres a turbo in there. |

| Ray what are you trying to prove? Good lord! All we said was we saw a Skyline in York, PA and your jumping down our throats telling us the G35 and the Skyline are the same.
Chill out and Drop it already. There's nothing to be right over.
Oh and go back and check the posts... I've been telling you the engines are different. |

| The R34 Skyline was powered by a 2.6L Twin Turbo Inline Six. Once it was killed in 2002, the RB26DETT was killed with it.
The G35/350Z use a 3.5L V6 VQ35DE Normally Aspirated Maxima engine with mods. Since the legal (Advertised) limit in Japan is 280HP, and we have that in the USA, we don't have a very dumbed down car. Wait until a Twin Turbo V6 is introduced.
