| Aghh! I'm so pissed right now My exhaust has been rattling all day. I crawled under it a minute ago and what do I see. The exhuast inlet on the muffler itself is completely snapped off. The inlet of the muffler and my exhaust pipe are still welded togeher. What a piece of **** muffler. BTW I have a dynomax super turbo muffler. I think Dynomax has a lifetime warranty on them right? If so they will be getting their piece of **** muffler back. Could it be welded back togeter and hold up good? Help me soon, I need to get this fixed ASAP. |

| Mine is rattling too. I have the SPS cat back with muffler. I think the cat-back is hitting the exhaust shield or the hanger for the cat-back is broke. Iono, takin it to the local exhaust shop tomorrow to have them fix it. Looks like it needs to be tightened up a bit so the pipe doesn't move around as much |

| I know what you mean, but I never expected the fuc*ing inlet pipe to completly snap off. It used to rattle slightly at stops somtimes, maybe the rattling finally caused it to snapped. If I can get it fixed, I'm putting on another muffler hanger. If I have to, I'll run without a muffler for a while, fuggit! |

| Whoa, a little crooked there, eh? My problem wasn't the installer fault, it's dynomax's. I'm calling first thing in the morning and telling them exactly what I think of their crap.
So, do you all think that the inlet can be welded back on the muffler and hold up good? |

Well did it rust through and break off, or did their weld just break? If the steel is still in good condition it should weld and hold no problem.

| Wow, my dynomax super turbo muff has always rattled too. I always thought it was a shotty job done by the muffler shop, but maybe I am wrong. I will take a look to see if there is a problem with the muffler. BTW, I just ordered my Thermal R&D on tuesday....so I guess problem solved. |

Mike | The metal is in good shape with no rust, I guess the weld just broke. Do you think it will hold up for a long time if it was welded back on? |
