AIM VIRUS

IF YOU GET A LINK FROM A FRIEND DO NOT CLICK ON IT. IT IS A VIRUS. THE LINK IS SUMPIN LIKE WE CAUGHT OSAMA. ALL THE PEOPLE THAT I SENT IT TO I AM REALLY SORRY. IT APPEARS THAT IT ONLY COMES UP FOR THOSE THAT HAVE RECENTLY UPGRADED TO THE NEWEST VERSION OF AIM (THE ONE THAT POPS UP WITH A WINDOW SAYING WHEN SOMEONE SIGNS ON/OFF, GOES IDLE/COMES BACK, PUTS ON/TAKES OFF AWAY MESSAGE.

TO GET RID OF IT CLICK THIS WEBSITE.....ITS OK TO CLICK THIS ONE http://rcc.bgsu.edu/faq/FixMessageTrojans.htm. AND FOLLOW THOSE INSTRUCTIONS. ALSO GO INTO CONTROL PANEL AND CLICK ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS AND DELETE IT IF IT IS THERE. THEN ALSO DO A SEARCH FROM THE START MENU AND DELETE THE BUDDLYLINK.NET FOLDER AD WHATEVER ELSE IS ON UR PC INVOLVING BUDDYLINK

yep dont open it i got it from somone and i opened it and now everyone on my buddy list is getting it ive had 3 people so far ask me if i sent them the link so dont open it

if someone can host an older AIM version (version 5.2.3292 to be exact) please let me know so i can send you the install file so everyone can DL if they upgraded to the newest version....i think the newest version is the one that contains the virus

I hate the newest version.....deadaim doesnt work with it.

I have the older version but played that saddam game thing....so i got the virus too or something?

hmm, someone sent me a link and part of it said "osamacaptured" blah blah...something like that. I have the older versino of AIM and when I clicked the link it didnt work, just came up like the website didnt exist. How do you know if you got the virus or not?

i have the install for aim 4.somthing on my home computer i am currently sitting in school but when i get home i will send the file to some one if they want it

yes, chances are that you do have the virus. do a search on ur PC for buddylink....if if pops up you have the virus

yeah ive kept version 4.8.2790
cuz it works with a program called myim which lets you clone and pretty much the same stuff as dead aim so i never upgraded cuz there was no point in it, untill aim gives me the ability to log and clone and all that other stuff that my im and deadaim let u do im staying with the old version.

someone had sent me that link and i didnt trust it so when it never opened anything i knew it wasnt anything good so ignored it. gotta love having pop up stoppers and virus checkers
