Default Amish prank turns deadly

http://www.msnbc.com/news/961934.asp

It doesn't surprise one of them got shot over this crap, it's a pretty ****ed up prank. If I told them to quit the crap after the first time and they continued, I'd probably shoot a few rounds too if I had my gun (in the air, not at them).

Well, I don't think I'd shoot a few rounds at them, thats too extreme. But something surely woudl have to be done.

I don't know..I've got mixed feelings on this one...

at one end, I would've reacted also, but I wouldn't have shot them. I love my car more than anyone else and can't stand randon acts of violence and stupidity, but someone lost their life..it's sad

I wouldn't have shot them either, but one major 30 minute ass whoopin would definately be in order.

They're just lucky only one person was killed. That guy/girl could've killed everyone.

But that was too damn extreme....could've just kicked his ass and been done with it, or picked up some corn and hurled it back.

The most ****ed up thing (it was in our local news, didn't have to read the article)...........

Amish using PAINTBALL guns? Isn't that against their religion or some ****?

Paintballs are not powered against electricity..so no.

That's messed up I have to admit, but I do want to say that I think people often have no clue what the amish are like or what their belief is. I've grown up with them being my neighbors, my friends. They're a great people with an amazing belief in God. I'm astounded that they can keep their beliefs alive in todays society. Granted, not every Amish person follows to the T...but who does in their beliefs today?

I agree with you Bren about the Amish.

But that has got to be the dumbest "prank" I have ever seen in my life. Anybody should have enough sense to not throw tomatoes at peoples cars.

I'm not really a gun person so I probably woulnd't have opened fire but I would have put somebody in the hospital.

You can pull a prank or have a good time without doing something that could damage another persons property.

The older I get the less patience I have for stupidity and ignorance like painting on public walls, stealing, keying cars, ****ting in public toilets and not flushing, pulling out in front of people, etc.

in this particular case the driver was absolutley in the WRONG he had the chance to simply drive away and not provoke it on
on the other hand one day when i had my dodge ram some kids were driving through town shooting cars, as i rounded a corner i head WHACK and thought someone was shooting at me, it missed me by inchs, went through my open window and it took me a second to relaize it was a paintball gun, in situations where seconds count, and you THINK someone may be firing at you, i could see maybe someone pulling a gun in retaliation, but in this case the guy had ample opportunity to simply drive off
but i AM agaisnt shooting paintballs at innocent cars... tomatoes are a pretty harmless prank, but a paintball gun, say it had hit me in the head instead of just missing me, could have caused me to veer into traffic.

Same here.

Doesn't tomates cause the clearcoat to peel if it gets baked on? I'd have to put an asswhooping on some Amish folk and force them to build me one of their garages for my car.
