Default Any reason to change fuel pump before it dies??

I've been thinking about this. I've gradually changing all of my bolt on's. The fuel pump has been in my car since '92. Should I expect it to die soon?

My girls 84 Cougar was still running on the original fuel pump when we got rid of a couple of months ago....so I would leave it be.

Leave it until it dies.
