lol thanks guy's. its def creepy. i have a video of it attacking the damn broom and tried pulling the broom away and he wouldn't let go of it.

The Hercules beetle has a vertical orientation to its pincers and the top one is long. Atlas beetle has 3 pincers. I think it's a form of a stag beetle. From the best I could IG it comes closest to that. There are 1200 forms of stag beetle and that one is close to the pics I could find of stag beetles, but I could not find one exactly like that, but I did eliminate all the other beetle species. Anyway I don't think it's native to missouri.

At 1st, I too though it was a Dung Beetle.

But whatever that is, That Mother F'r is HUGE, god think it dodn't bit your Nads......... Yeeeeeeowch !!!!
