The saturn one is sweet, I have it. It is like $500 bucks though cause it is a cat-back system.

There's a bunch of great mufflers out. HKS is the one I have on mine, but I got the piping with it, so it was around $600 shipped. SPS carries a decent muffler, also you could go to any muffler shop and check out what they got. Magnaflow is another great muffler for a decent price. The one from the Saturn Expression series is made by HKS.

with a muffler i think the cheaper it is the more its gonna suck...for example i heard a flotech muffler on a saturn and it sounded horrible...it sounded all ricey and i didnt like it....i got a magnaflow muffler and it sounds like i got a 8 cylinder under my hood....now only if i had the power of an 8 cylinder in my SL1

That's generally true.....the cheaper the part the worse it's gonna be. Just be careful as not to buy something no one's ever heard of before. There's alot of good brands out there. Apexi, HKS, Magnaflow, Turbo Mufflers and numerous others. Just check within your price range and don't forget to always ask questions

LMAO funny you mention that Pat.... a couple months ago i was coming to a stop and I was down shifting....this V8 Firebird passed me and I sounded ALOT deeper and more agressive sound then it did. haha....although V8's have a hollow sound that's pushing air out of it rather then sounding real deep. best way i can explain it. but yeah Magnaflow has a WONDERFUL SOUND. I love my magnaflows

Get one with a 2.25" opening so that you can still use it when you get the money to buy your piping. Otherwise you will have to buy another muffler again later.

Actually, the Magnaflow's are relatively inexpensive, yet keep the good quality, so you're not lookin at a whole lot of cash.
