No offense, but this is, by far, the most pointless mod I've ever seen. Unless you're trying to make a show winner, what's the point?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for originality, but if you're gonna post a how-to it won't be original for long will it :P

Hey, it's your car, do to it whatever makes you happy

I have seen this done by connecting the bar that is part of the trunk hinge to the trunk with a heavy duty gate hinge for fences. Then the person put some sort of pin in there, so they could just put the pin in and it would function stock, or pill the pin out and it was flip-flop. I saw the how-to on the web a long time ago with this method. This way you dont have to mess with tightening and loosening bolts.

Exactly, every mod that I have done so far was either free, or very inexpensive. When I started using my new avatar, I was getting emails all day from pple asking, "how do you do that, what did you use, can you help me out". So I posted how to do it. Its a free mod. I understand what you're saying about not being original if everyone knows how to do it, but I'm not the first person to do it, just about every civic owner ive met did the same thing. So its not that original anyway.

Looks good Brandon. I just don't have the guts to go cutting up anything on my car.
