Default forza motorsport>gt4

why care about saving pictures of your cars when you can make your own vinyls?

theres only 60 sumthin shapes to use so you REALLY have to use your imagination. i made my f355's vinyl tonight. it took me a little over 2 hours:

Your ferarri's vinyl looks funny/cool, but if anyone did that to a real ferarri, I might cry.

I wouldn't say that the ability to create vinyls makes forza > GT4. Forza falls short of gt4 in some places, and GT4 falls short in many places aswell.

Does anybody know how good Enthusia is?

I'd like to know. I have heard that Enthusia is for PS2 and XBOX.

I just so happen to have a Forza Motorsport article in my hand...

Reasons why Forza > GT4
1. GT4 uses 0-60MPH data, top speed, and standard statistics for physics analysis. Forza uses that and each car's physical attributes, including environment data such as gravity, surface temperatures and friction coefficients.
2. GT4 calculates physics 60 times a second. Forza calculates it four times as fast, at 240 times a second.

I believe the Gran Turismo series cant really get any better without stepping up to a more powerful platform. I was kind of hoping GT4 would come out with the new PlayStation so they had more to play with, but hey, Im happy now anyway. I have also heard things about GT4's graphics being very similar to GT3, but I see a slight improvement to what already is realistic as _blank_.

Like cansl2 said, Forza excells in some areas GT4 doesnt, and vice versa.

forza has many features that gt4 fans would love. not only online, but the customization aspect, the telemetry [while viewing a replay you can see a lot of techinical things going on with the car and your driving], the car list [while not as big as gt4's x amount of daihatsus]. are 200+ cars you'd ACTUALLY want to drive. races are fun, physics are nice as hell [including tire physics], customizing your cars with a vinyl is just a BONUS. it adds to the whole custom feel and no 2 cars will ever be the same on the track. ive seen some SICK vinyls made from the shapes in the game [squares, triangles, lines, etc].

i love this game. if anyone has an xbox and xbox live [or has this game and NO xbox live, get a cheap headset from target, and use your 2 month xbl code. its sooooo worth it.

some differences i see

forza: 30fps - gt4: 60fps
forza: everything realtime - gt4: pre rendered backgrounds, blurring and other effects to make game look "sexy"
forza: full screen AA - gt4: no full screen AA
forza: online - gt4: no online [unless your tunneling]
forza: make custom vinyls - gt4: save pics of your cars with jump drive
forza: a.i. can learn from your driving style - gt4: linear a.i.
forza: train drivatar to race for you - gt4: ?
