I stopped by the Saturn dealer today to check on some parts and as I pulled up and got out of the car I saw another gentleman about to walk out the door. As I was walking up to the door he comes out and we passed and said Hi to each other. Well one of the salesmen stopped me and was asking me about my car. So I started telling him about it and noticed that the guy I passed coming in was looking around at my car. The next thing I know he's opening up the driver's side door looking around in it. So I said to the salesmen "what does that guy think he's doing?"
I decide to go out there and ask him what he's doing and as I get out there the driver's door is open and he's throwing some paperwork into the passenger seat. I asked him if I could help him and he say's he's there to pick up his car and I said what, this is my car. While I was there asking him what he was doing another salesman come's out just as one of the lot attendents was pulling around a brand new blue Ion sedan.
It turn's out that he had just bought a new blue Ion and he thought I was bringing his car around to him.
We started joking around about it and the salesman said that I might trade with him if he wanted mine but the guy said that I probably wouldn't go for it since my car was nicer.
to answer the question...yeah...I have bought several cars without knowing what the one I purchased actually looked like until it was delivered to my home. Time is money....who has time to deal with dealerships or salespeople?
So the guy bought an ION and tried to take your SL..... Did he not have his glasses on?
