GF insists on bringing her cat with her...

Well, my gf will probably be moving in with me come November or so.

She has a cat and says that it HAS to come with her.

I have asthma AND allergies so I said no cat.
On top of those, I just hate the fact that the d@mn thing will be climbing on my counters that I prepare food on and it'll be leaving hair everywhere!!!

It was brought up again last night and she started getting all upset saying "She's all I have that is mine."

So I said something like, well I see where I rank.

I just don't want this f*cking cat coming with her!!!!!!

i agree with that one. My gf has cats at her house, but they stay outside, and the majority of them are females, and theres 2 males hangin around the neighborhood. And they all wonder why the cats end up pregnant so much. But no matter how I try to explain it to her, she won't let me shoot two males......I HATE CATS...they're stupid, they just sit there. Its like they do what they want, and they don't come around you unless they're hungry. Furry lil bastards.

I hate cats with a passion. drown it! Or it could accidentally run in to traffic. or maybe eat some rat poison. Or if you cant be mean, fedex it to me i'll take care of it.

It should be legal to shoot a cat on site, kinda like hunting deer..Ever been to an animal shelter? you walk in and you'll see maybe 10 stray dogs, but 200 stray cats. Every time cats are brought in they should just be fed to the stray dogs.

So if i've offended any catlovers...ok not really that sorry.

I don't have a problem with cats...per se...

I just hate the fur, the claws, the nasty box of crap, the fact that no matter how hard you try to keep them off of something, no matter how high it is, they will find a way to get up there and then get stuck so you have to get them down before going completely insane from their whining...

We have feral cats as we have a fairly large amount of property. Keeps the mice and stuff down. My parents went on vacation one time and my dad gave me one task - to thin out their numbers... You see at that time we had 20 of the lil bastards... I got really good with a rifle

Cat's really aren't as bad as people say. {dodges gun fire} I find dogs to be worse becuase you have to pay attention to them all the time and can't leave them alone in the house for a long weekend. But you have a point about your asthma and alergies. I think that's sorta like forceing me to eat shell fish everyday (allergic to shell fish).

It's a hard choice to get rid of a pet for somebody, even if you love them. Relationships are all about compromise. You can't expect somebody to change for you. Ok, so i'm probably not helping going that direction... Since you have medical reasons she should really find a loving home for her cat, like with a friend or family member with a pre-existing cat.
