GM will recall 240,000 Saturn L-Series cars

DETROIT, Aug 4 (Reuters) - General Motors Corp. (nyse: GM - news - people) will recall 240,000 Saturn L-Series cars and 95,000 Buick Rendezvous sport utility vehicles for separate problems, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Monday.

NHTSA said GM would fix a faulty ignition control computer that could eventually trigger a fire on Saturn L-Series cars, model years 2000 through 2003.

yeah-this was posted a little while ago-however, until September, we are in LIMITED supply to replace the ignition modules and spark plugs. At this time, unless the SES light comes on, there is a very low idle to the point of stalling and extreme power loss, your car should be fine. These are ONLY on the 4-cylinder L-Series and owners will be receiving a recall notice again in September as to when there is parts availability.
