|  God, i hate idiots.
Well, earlier today,me and some dude on MSN messanger got into an agrument about engines. He is trying to say that the V in a a phrase like V6, means the ammount of pistons. I keep telling him he was an idiot and that the v means the design of the pistons, but his father told him elsewise, so he believe him. His father supposedly works for SAAB, but yeah right... anyways, then he kept going on and on about how he was right talking about some V4 and ****. If you ask me, if the put a V design on a 4-Cyclynder engine it would look like a square...so it'd be like an S4 lol. Anyways, I just needed to get that off my chest, god, I hate stubborn idiots.

lol...v4...yea did you mention the i6... as in INLINE 6....or v8, the way the two heads are on both side? ugh...glad you hate stupid peopl too man...just remember, they make the world go round... | |

How does he explain the W8?
I got lots of friends that keep saying my car is a "V4".....I gave up arguing, they didn't even listen after I opened the hood and showed them the spark plugs and ports were all in a line.

I didn't ask him about the W8, and seems like you have a bunch of idiot friends, sorry. I would just call them ricers tell they got it right.

Yknow, Saab actually did make a small V4 engine in the 50s and 60s. It was a nasty little aircooled piece of crap.
