oh man bobo, damn brother guess what? when we did our recent crush (two to three times a year we crush 60-90 saturns, both to make room for new inventory and to get money for the scrap worth to buy the new stuff with) but we had a 96 jetta and a 2000 jetta that i had aquired, i tired selling parts and advetising them for the better part of 6-8 months, but since scrap is so high we decided to crush em, right now the wiring harness in the AVERAGE car brings about 90 bucks, the aluminum wheels and bumpers under the skins bring another 100+, the cars shells themselves bring about 200-300 depending on wieght, so considering how high scrap is ( we do get much better prices then the average guy off the street, and prices vary by region but the scrap industry is seeing a FIFTEEN YEAR HIGH IN SCRAP METAL PRICES RIGHT NOW!) aint that something? so anywise, even in parts alone sounds like you got a really good deal! enjoy it! their cool little cars, always liked the jettas, and personally i love the last genreration passat, i think the new saturn auras bear a striking resemblence to the last passat.... haha wow. well, all the reviews of my 96 jetta [from others who've owned them] have said theyve had MAD electrical problems down the road. im not a vw person..its just not me.

i drove it to the car wash recently and enjoyed the fact that i had WAY more leg room than my sc2 but less head room [?]. my head rubbed against the roof numerous times. [im 6'6].

right now the jetta is on ebay and i hope i get it sold for what i want it sold. there's a reserve set so i wont get screwed. either way, i only paid $300 for it and had to dump $200 for minor things [battery, oil, etc].
