Default GRR, WHY???

You know, sometimes I really do wonder why I do the whole FireFighting and EMS thing. Then I remind myself because it is in my blood and runs in the family. I love this kind of thing, and can't imagine doing anything else. Well, this is why I asked myself that question today. BTW, this **** happened to me yesterday on my 24 hour shift.....

**4:30am: Woke up because my body told me to.
**5:15am: Medical Call, Bull**** as usual.
**5:45am: Jumped on the Engine to run an illegal burn.
**6:00am: Climbed back into bed to relax before getting up at 7
**6:20am: Medical call, guy was shot in the balls, and rode his bicycle 10 miles before calling 911. His buddy was picked up by one of our other units who was pistol whipped.
**7:50am: Medical call, 10 minutes before shift change. Ran a call on an infant 1 year old, he died on us. Mother dropped him in a 5 gallon bucket of water, grease, and bleach.

Sorry i guess I should of put this earlier. She said she was cleaning her house, WHO THE **** CLEANS HOUSE AT 7:50AM???

That is some rough !@#$ man.

Keep holding up, and don't forget.. for all the !@#%ing people out there that couldn't give a !@#$ about you or what you do ( these people are called idiots ). There are the people worth while that know you work hard just so you can help people you don't even know.

Have a beer on me ( if you'd cover this one, i'll get you when I actually meet you =p ) , and take it easy.
