Yeah, they blow up if I don't detail them. Lemmie give you my addy, and you give me about $35 for a full detail job.

Anything to look our for? Yes. First of all it's a Saturn, that's a problem right there! Just kidding dude. It's a basically good car. Watch out for the car gradually using more and more oil. If that happens then you've got the oil consumption problem. It can be fixed. Uhhh, make sure your front wheels are torqued properly and evenly, otherwise you may develop warped rotors. I'm sure there's more, but it's nothing you can't handle.

Welcome to the spot. Have fun!

Jim

Wecome to the spot, you picked up a good car. Just don't do burnouts in it all the time. Saturns have an open end differential pin which vibrates loose when one wheel spins faster than the other (during a burnout) and will shoot throught the transmission casing destryoing the transmission.

Welcome aboard dood. Only thing I can think of is the oil consumption is a little high, but that's about it.

Welcome! I think these other fine folks have pretty well nailed the general issues attributed to Saturns.

I can add one of my own, though. Even if it isn't really a big deal. Don't forget when doing oil changes and the like to lube the various parts of the car mentioned in the owners manual. It seems like I'm the only person who does things like lubricating the door hinges and such. Latches and those little hold open cams on the doors seem to last a lot longer when they're properly cleaned and lubricated regularly.

In short, don't forget the little stuff!
