Default Hi, Im New !!! Need Help Please.

Just wanted to get in on a new project, I was currently working on a Ford ZX2 that is doing 14.9 with N/A motor. I was runing out of stuff to do, I noticed a saturn and i bought that and gave the zx2 to my wife. I bought a dark blue 99 saturn sc2. It has everything, except performance potential. not to mention an exhaust leak so that is where I am stating, intake and exhaust. to major areas. well i need to know where to get all this good stuff, i plan to have my car decked out before august when my baby is due. my wife said if i can do it before august go for it, si i am going for it. i would apreciate and emails and help anyone can give me on where to go, maybe even peeps in the area that I am in around ft. belvoir fairfax, woodbridge, D.C area can help direct me to performance shops that are o.k. and trustworthy. thanks all, my previous experience on zx2.com was great, hopefully you will be the honda hatin all american types as well. email me at rfreese03@sprintpcs.com

Holy hell. What did you do to the ZX2 to get it to break into the 14's?

As for the Saturn, I'd say turbocharge it if you got the budget. I believe Joeybagodonuts on here runs a Saturn performance shop, building engines and such. He can give you better advice than I could.

If not, there are headers out there, I think HotShot makes one?

as for the zx2 lets just say that my wifes dad drives a alchohol rail car, he owns RPM machine shop (RPM stands for ramsey performance motorsports), you might have heard of him if you have been to Richmond dragstrip, he holds the track title there for a 4.3 1/4 mile or in that genereal area, i cant qite remember the exact time. i will post if for ya tough , and he kinda helped a little on the internals and shaving porting poishing dreal, if anyone needs things done he does it for a god price if you ask me.

If you wanna go N/A talk to Joey, he can either build ya a kick ass motor, or he can give ya some advice. If ya want to go turbo there are a few companies that make "kits" for our cars....but you can do it much cheaper yourself with a used/re-built turbo. Joey is also good with turbo engines...and once again he can either build you one or direct you in the propper direction if you want to do it yourself.
