Default hood liner Q

Question: does anyone know if the hood liner for a second gen S series will fit under the hood of a first gen. Structurally the cars are almost identical (roof structure differs) so I'm thinking it might work.

Thanks y'all.

Jim

hey jimmy, they MAY have moved the holes, but id say yes, i know that they fit up there almost the same, you may have to punch new holes in it.
do you want the proper one? just cover the shipping, ill send you one.

I don't know, Joey. Have you got a first gen SL hood liner in primo condition? Usually when I see a hoodliner that's more than a couple of years old it's kinda ratty and stanky. Of course, we got a lot more sh*t on the roads up here than you do.

Drop me a line to let me know what shipping would work out to for that anyway.

Thanks Joey, no rush at all on that. Just want my car to be quieter eventually. Lemme know what you've got whenever you feel like it. It's all good.
