Default hunting

October 1st marks the start of Deer hunting season, with archery hunting starting. Im going up to Northern Michigan on the 10th of this month to hunt, but the good thing is they have an early firearms season and I will get to hunt with my 30-30 that I have put a scope on and havent hunted with it, I will only get to get a weekend out of that hunt, but when the official start of rifle season starts, (Nov 15th) I will have a week vacation I cant wait!!!!! :P

Any other hunters here

Deer Season's already been in effect for about a week or two now here. My boss and one of my coworkers likes to hunt after hours at the place we work, i like to stay and watch them hunt. I swear there are deer everywhere you look down there. The first day, my boss got a doe, then not 10 mins later a herd of deer of about 20 just ran by they nailed 6 of 'em (including a 6 pointer, 2 spike, and 3 doe). Oh and these deer are stupid as dirt. we ran towards a family of about 4 deer and we got about 20 yards away, and these deer didn't even flinch. lol, My large freezer is already full to the rim with deer meat.

If you are not talking westen count then a 6 point is kinda weak. The least I will ever shoot is a 4 point(that is a 8 point to you). Over here we count them by each side, not by all of the points together.

Yeah, we count total, but my boss isn't worried about the number of points, we just like the meat. Of course if they do happen to see a deer with lots of points... of course they're not stupid enough to pass it up.
