| I GOT THE JOB!!! I got the call on Tuesday the 30th. Pitney Bowes called me and offered me a great job.
I will be working with the Channel Services area of World Headquarters basically doing all the behind the scenes work for Tactical Marketing. I have a summer internship in the Marketing group and they offered this job to me (along with other applicants). But my impression made during my internship made a big difference on their decision.
I am going to withdraw from the university this semester and take wintersession classes along with 2-3 courses each semester prior to reach my degree. I am only a few classes away so it will take about a year to a year and a half to finish school. All things included, this job is a great opportunity and helps me achieve my goals or CC bill payoff by Christmas, a ring...The Ring for my girlfriend, and stuff for my car, and a move out. Here are the details.
$41,000 annual salary, $1708 semi-monthly. I get full medical and dental benefits starting the month prior to my entrance on October 13th, and they will reimburse me for going to school as well. It couldnt have come at a better time in my life and I cannot wait to start. I left for VA yesterday to come see my girlfriend for a few days to chill, relax, and be with her. Talk to you all soon.

| nothing really wrong with being a pharmacist, primarily just dreading all that extra school to get there, and at my company at least, the technicians do way more work than any of the pharmacists do. I'm also a little jealous, lol, all I ever see them do in my pharmacy (pretty much) is check the bottles after the machine fills them and make sure the pills match the picture of them in the system, not all that involved at all. |
