AND IT IS AWESOME!!!
My God, it's unbelievable! The very first thing I noticed is the near instantaneous response when I release even the slightest off. It felt wonderful to be able to punch it and not have the revs skyrocket!
Now, here's the story behind the repair work... My normal mechanic, Robert "Riley" Krebs, recommended this guy to me for the simple reason he couldn't get to my car in a fast time, since he was already backed up with a 300ZX that decided to **** its tranny, not to mention an engine rebuild on a Celica. When my mechanic turns down my car, I KNOW he's backed up badly! Anyways, he sent me to this one mechanic in Ocean Springs (About 15 to 20 minutes away from me) to get my clutch taken care of. To make a long story short, I was told, beforehand, that I wouldn't have my car back until tomorrow, so I was fully prepared to hitch a ride to work tomorrow, and have Corey (my best friend) pick me up on my lunch break so I could pick up my car. So, here I am, in front of my computer when my cel-phone rings... Now, usually when it's just a number and not a name on the screen, I'll send them straight to voicemail. This time, I didn't.
"May I please speak to Josh?"
"Speaking."
"Hi Josh, this is Duane at Coast Transmission."
By this time, I was scared that he was going to tell me that there was something else wrong with my car...
"Hey Duane, what's up?"
"Oh nothing, your car is ready, and I wanted to see if you wanted to come pick it up before I close for the day."
It took him, from the time I dropped it off, to the time it was complete, no more than a couple of hours to do the install

When I got there, I saw my baby, sitting to the side, all ready and calling my name... As happy as I was to see her ready, I decided to subject myself to the horror of seeing how bad the factory clutch was... Guys, it's amazing that it lasted THIS long. The clutch disk was down to the rivets, and the pressure plate had grooves worn into it from the wear and tear. When I saw that, I was alarmed that my flywheel was in similar shape, so I asked him about that...
"Actually, the flywheel was in great shape, so I just resurfaced it."
By this time, I was ready to kiss the man. After paying him ($175.00 plus tax), I got in and drove it off, happy with the work, and feeling the MAJOR difference in the clutch!
Now, here comes the FUN part... On my way home, a little black Honda Civic (Body Kit, Fart Can, the ricer-works) pulls up next to me. Some little thug behind the wheel... Well, I wasn't going to race him since all I wanted to do was get home, but when he revved at me, I QUICKLY decided to take matters into my hands and eat this Honda for dinner

He's revving at me, I'm revving back as much as my rev-limiter will allow me to, then the light turns green... I INSTANTLY had a car length on him! As he upshifted, I upshifted faster, tires chirping up to 2nd gear, and definitely gripping the road into 3rd! By this time, he has apparently had enough, and backed off... Hehehehehehe! Myself, I just continued to shift up until I was in 5th and LONG GONE!
Guys, my car is FINALLY taking form, and I have ALL of you to thank for keeping my spirits up when they were down, for making me laugh when I was sad, for making me a part of this family, and especially for restoring mine, as well as MANY others faith in Saturn Performance! You guys and gals are the best!
Josh
