I have no personal experience with hyundai, so I'm not gonna bash, but you have to admit that having a long warranty does not mean the cars are good quality. There are all kinds of games that companies can play with warranties...

a) good product, good warranty - product quality keeps costs down
b) good product, minimal warranty - product quality means people don't worry about warranty (often the case with high dollar tools)
c) poor product, poor warranty - you get what you pay for, and you should know it
d) poor product, good warranty - money saved in production can cover higher warranty costs, especially if there are loopholes to the warranty.

It seems most people want to say hyundai is either in A or D. Keeping in mind that I don't have personal experience with them, but do keep my ears open to auto stuff in general, it seems like hyundai was once at D, but has been persistently building toward A. How far along they are... I dunno.

We all have a LOT of bias here, and even those with personal experience don't have a significant enough sample to really be justified in thinking they must be right because they own one. Name any car brand, and I can find you one person who thinks they're tops, and one who thinks they're the biggest junk around. A sample of one, or even several, is not significant enough to have a big attitude over.

So... yeah... quit hatin' on each other everyone! lol

funny cause kia has remained in the ****ty forgotten spot, and hyundai has become the "lexus" of the "toyotas" if you know what i mean.

sounds like they're replacing the grille design with something a little meaner and probably putting 18's on standard and 19 chromes as optional

^the styling looks like a camry ripoff, only slightly less pig-like. It's fine, but it's boring...

i know they're adding side sills, widening the lights to make it less-toyotaish, and adding more chrome accents like mirrors and things. i can't wait for the production model to come out

hence the word 'concept'. i was reading in some magazine how everyone used to laugh at hyundai back in the day. the article stated no one seems to be laughing now.

maybe they can make it look better for the concept, but it's interesting... most companies end up making awesome concepts, then have to make them a little more plain for production due to expensive concept details... nothing really wrong with it being the other way around, I guess.
