If your Toyota does get a problem within warranty, prepare for a fight.
My mom's 2002 Solara leaked oil when it was not very old. I brought it in with mom, and had to hear one and a half hours about how Toyota engines don't leak oil. Some guy in the repair bay confirmed the oil leak, and the a--holes in the waiting room didn't act the least bit sorry.
Ah, well, corrollas don't have the 2AZ-FE engine that was in mom's Solara. I don't know how many of those engines I have seen w/ an oil leak or a loose belt tensioner. Those stupid engines also ended up in many RAV4 and Camry models.
