i hate jersey laws

well as most know i got a speeding ticket for 89 in a 65 so i tried the $2 over trick and it DONT work. i now have 6 points on my lisence (2 from about a yr and a half ago for speeding also) and now i have to pay $100 surcharge on my insurance......boy do i love this state. we are one of the smallest, but hey we still carry THE highest insurance rate in the USA. only once did we drop to number 2 for only a year to NY

Well look at it this way pat. If you drive up here in nothern jersey you can look at the other cars around you and probably 1/4 of them are driven illegally(no insurance/inspection/license/stolen).

as a 19 year old with 6 point im not 100% sure....my new year is coming up but ill let ya know as soon as i get it. as far as last year with only 2 points i was paying roughly 100 a month for my saturn

oh yea i also only have the highest liabilty coverage a teenage can get on their own poilcy. i think its 50k-100k-50k.....cant remember what they all mean tho. i ONLY have liability on my insurance. when i asked my dad about getting insurance thru his insurance co (prudential) they said it would be 3000/yr.....now that is way too much to pay. and also i dunno if its the same in other states but we also pay more bc we ALSO pay for all the stupid ******* that are uninsured in this state

16 year old with no points on my record with my 00 Cavi i pay 230 a month for insurance.....haha i thought i was paying alot. It was only 150 when i had the SL2

They gave you four points for that!!!!!!

I got pulled over doing 60 in a 35 and got no points, plus mine fine went down by like 50 or 60 bucks! Damn Pat that really sucks!

4 points. Ha, you got it easy. In MD, if you're going 30 or more over OR 20 over in a 65(which you were) that's 5 points and a 300sumthin fine. I know cuz I got a ticket for going 95 on I-95

It was my first ticket and I got out of the points and got the fine reduced to $100 with court fees
