| I'm new but most of you know me. Hey guys,
I was a regular on xtremesaturn. Anyways, that is in the past. I am here now! How are you all? I haven't talked to most of you in a while because of my lack of posting on the old board.
To the people here that I don't know yet: Hi! My name is Pete. I live in Canada and I have a 92 SL.
This is my baby: http://www.hardwoodgalleryltd.com/Saturn%2012.jpg

| Hey Pete, does it still sound like there's a guy with maracas under the hood?!? Let me know when you want to get a hold of Frank (machinist) and we'll hook up and head over there. Cool?

| hold on, we cant have a meeting of canuckians anonymous without monkey racing! LOL
dude, you guys got normal homes up there (nice house and hood you live in pete) my buddy craig in sudbury was just complaining how the heat wave was melting his igloo, the crazy eskimo sticker....
overnighting a letter to canuckia is a oxymoron (or is that oxycontin?lol) I send craig an overnight and it takes the dog sled express like 3 weeks to get there!
petey, welcome! your wing looks very similar to surfer steves who just joined, check his ride out on his post surfer steve and tell me if thats the same company. what do you need pete? some lifters? them puppys are like 40 bucks US dollars EACH down here, so thats what? like 500 each canaduh dough? (for newbies, the us/canaduh cracks have been going on a long time and its all in good FUN!).pete, i got some heads i tore down you need some lifters so the car stops sounding like its doing the macarana let me know, ill get them to you.

| Joey, it is possible to rebuild the head before sending?? What exactly is in the head? What is below the head of an engine? I'd need a new timing chain and all. I've decided not to go with the DOHC engine and turbo based on the troubles that all of the turbo owners are having. I need a re-built TBI engine with MP2 (sohc) tranny though Joey... What can you do for me?
I'll call you on Monday, that way we can talk about this in person! haha!
I'm going all show and no go this winter. I'm getting a body kit put on with z3 fenders and 5 Sparco racing seats....thats right 5! 2 in the front and 3 in the back! It should be cool.
My hood isn't bad, there are a bunch of "tough guy" little high school kids in it though. Makes me kinda worried about my car. Jim lives like 35 minutes or so away from me. Good times heh Jim? lol
I took a look at surfer steves ride on that link. I didn't see the spoiler.. You tricking me Joey?? lol
I can't think of any American jokes today. lol Sorry to disappoint you!

| Hey Pete. If you're getting a rebuild done, just have the lifters dumped in then. Retail cost on 'em is just plain silly, but Frank will do 'em wholesale. (not meaning to snag any biz from you Joe, just giving Pete some common sense advice)
Frank doesn't do trannys, but I'll see who I can dig up for you if it needs rebuilding.
to answer your engine content questions:
HEAD: valves, lifters, rockers, rocker rail, camshaft
UNDER THE HEAD: block, pistons, connnecting rods, crankshaft, all kinds of bearings, oil pump, bottom end of timing chain
Later,
Jim

| Jim, thanks.
Joey, I might not be getting an engine from you, but I'll be getting a lot of other things....such as a rear door frame and stuff like that. Maybe a tranny if it is cost effective. I don't care about the engine cause I'm going for show.
Thanks,
Pete |
