Default on the injured list...AGIAN..

I woke up one morning and my back hurt so bad that I couldn't even sit up on the end of the bed. I always take a hot shower b4 work and most times that helps loosen my back a bit. Well, after working between 7 and 17 hours on particular days through the week my back got tighter in the middle or towards the end of the shift. I'm the warehouse manager so I do the majority of the work in there. Heavy lifting, moving 200-300lb items accross the warehouse and store, carryouts, carryins, and so on. More than likely I hurt my back by pulling, pushin, or lifting something really freakin heavy. I decided to let my store manager know about it and I opted to go to the doctor today. I've been put on the injured list once again. I'm out of work for 4 days, got a shot in my ass, and have to take a **** load of meds. Anyone else have good news?

Is it muscle damage or damage to the soft tissue behind the pelvis?

more of the middle right side of my back, near my kidney. While at the doctor's office yesterday, I went ahead and got tested for any kidney problems, turned out clean. Doc said that even bending over to pic up lite stuff, 10-15lbs can put the worst strain on the pivit point in ur back. That may be what happened, but like i said, it could've also happened while pushing or pulling something. On truck day, its fast paced and theres usually a large addrenaline rush all day long. But this pain wasn't noticed until i woke up one morning and couldn't sit straight up. I've been taking the meds for the past two days and my back feels a bit better, but I'm still takin off til wednesday to let my back heal.

Yes john, we do have a forklift, but you can't always use it. Matter of fact, we can't get the lift to the other side of the warehouse where the heavy stuff is. Asside from that, I'm not approved to drive the lift....yet.

Before when I've been working like under the dash or something, my lower back kills me. I've been to the doctor a couple time and had to have doctor excuses to be excused from weightlifting clas at school. I love that class so it pisses me off whenever my car has to be a little *****.

Hope you get better. I feel like I've been where you are.
