Default *Installed* Just ordered Progress Springs for my ION QC

Thanks for all of your feedback and experiences about lowering springs. I decided to go with Progress Springs as the first real mod for my ION QC. I ordered them from www.ptuning.com. They cost $161.45 including shipping, I thought that was a pretty good deal.

I will be installing them myself. I will let you know how the install goes and how fast Ptuning gets them shipped to me. Their prices seem pretty good but I have no expreience with them, so we'll see if they are legit or not.

Two things...

1) I don't recommend changing a coilover spring yourself unless you have the proper spring compressor. It's not a compressor you can buy at AutoZone either.

2) What shocks/struts are you running?

I'm going to borrow a spring compressor from the local auto parts shop. I already have air tools. I am running the stock struts and shocks.

Unreal! www.ptuning.com is awesome! I ordered the springs yesterday, got an e-mail this morning saying they were shipped yesterday 2 day fedex (for free!) They will be delivered on Friday! I will have them installed this Weekend. Pics on Monday!

Now I just got to find those pics and instructions again, LOL!

ptuning.com is one of the best companies I have ever ordered through. Lowering a car isn't too hard, just a little time consuming. Just make sure you get an alignment after you drive it for a couple of days to let everything settle.

Someone had linked me to a site for installation instructions at one time. I looked all over and can't find them. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Done! It was pretty easy . There was a slight learning curve because I have never done it before. Man, it looks a ton better. There was some major wheel gap.
