Default Insurance claim help

Last night we got some bad storms that passed through and got some good sized hail. I got lucky and had two very, very tiny dents. One in my hood and roof. I have full coverage on my car so what the hell I'm going to claim it. If figured it would be easy cash for my car. Since the dents are so small to me it isn't worth messing with. So I just want to claim it and get the check to repair it, but I don't plan on getting it fixed. I just I've heard though if I did this it would be best to take off the full coverage afterwards, I have no idea why. Would claiming this cause my rates to go up?

Find out what your deductible is. Then see if it cheeper to get it fixed without going through insurance.

Farm Bureau. Deluxe, I'm not worried about getting it fixed I can barely see the spots. I figured I could get some easy cash from claiming this. A couple years ago my friends car got hail damage and he got a check for a little over $1,000 from the same insurance company, a couple days later the sun took most of the dents out. So I thought I'd see what I could get.

Why not call them up and ask them without giving them your polocy number? They'd tell you if it would or would not go up, then a few hours later, call back and claim it.

Yeah, your rates will probably go up. The insurance company has to find a way to make it's money back from you two times over, while at the same time still rape you for your regular premium.

Did you know?---Insurance is the highest profit business in the world?

You need to find out if you have a comprehensive coverage on your policy. This relates to stuff that is beyond your control(weather etc.)If you have this coverage then it shouldnt make your rate go up. You might still have to pay a deductable though. I got my windshield and entire roof replaced on my car about 2 years ago and didnt have to pay anything, and my insurance didnt go up. Find out if you have this coverage and ask them about it.

this is exactly why our insurances are so high is cuz of ****s like you who decide to try and scam the insurance companies which in turn makes them increase our insurances to pay for your ass so thanks a lot jackass... hope you get caught too!!! im not trying to be mean but its a ripple effect that just cuz you want some extra cash it affects hundreds of people who havent done anything wrong so their premiums end up going up as well.
