Default insurance coverage


well i get a chance to get insurnac ecoverage thru work. my question is which company is better and why do you think so. i have a week to decide bc i have put this off for a lil while

I had Aetna... not bad... although BC/BS is covered in more locations I think... all comes down to what is the weekly pay in... and what is the deductable/copay...

i think im gonna go with blue cross bc they sound better. plus with aetna you use one primary dr. any other doctors you need a referall from ur primary. with blue cross i can choose any one i like without a referral. they both cost about the same, but when i get married aetna will be a lil cheaper, but not by much.

Would definately go with Aetna. Blue Cross Blue Shield has a lot of fuzzy terms when the time comes if you need to be hospitalized. Just because the health car provider book they give you doesn't list the doctor you want, still call and find out because a lot of the time, those books are from 6 months to a year old.
