Default Joey's new delivery service kicks ass!!!

I got my leather seats in less than 2 days!! That was a huge shipment delivered right to my door. Florida to Minneapolis. I remember smaller shipments coming from UPS that took 2 weeks. Good move J Baggs!!

Hmm... So this time when I order stuff from Joey, it won't take three weeks for it to arrive in Washington? That's good to know. I can order more parts from him, now.

Are you talking about DHL? I know he has been using them for atleast a few months because I had pretty much the entire front end of my car shipped from him with them. As a matter of fact, by means of a miracle, my engine cradle made it to dayton OVERNIGHT accidentally, just in time for my friends to help me try to install it.

not good. getting the old one out was tedious but not to bad. mainly it was just because none of us had done it before. however the new one wouldnt line up properly and we came to the decision that frame is bent. so we put the old one back in and the car is going to the shop in a week or so to have the frame done. But Joeys product was excellent, it wasnt his fault it didnt fit. The cardle had bent with the frame, so the holes lined up.

Wow....someone that doesn't blame Joey for problems that have nothing to do with his parts

My frame is bent as well. It's actually a good thing I read this before I decided to buy a new cradle.

It depends where your frame is bent also. My car took a decent impact to BOTH front corners in the same incident. The impacts were from the sides so I am sure the front os pretty messed up. however I can tell it has fransferred to the rest of the car because my entire car drives sideways, and my front passenger door's top corner rubs the back doors top corner.

Joey is a great guy, 9 times out of 10 the complaints you hear (if any) are people jumping the gun and not calling or talking to him first. I have yet to see him not fix something and the fact is almost everytime something needed fixing it was because the customer was not clear in the first place. The bad part is usually right after someone is complaining they get the part the same day or the next so stupid, but it sucks they don't come back and admit "hey guys, my bad, Joey is OK...I over reacted"

Joey cannot control shipping delays any more than any other company....he is also a professional shop and REAL shop that doesn't mean he is going have 10 parts guys all sitting around all day waiting for orders, yet most of the time your part goes out that same day or the very next....I am lucky to get that from a shop I am paying top dollar at with 10 parts monkeys sitting around.

I have never had a problem from Joey or 6th planet that a new overnighted part was not sent to fix...and the only 'problems' that did occur were my error not being clear or me not knowing the right info, but you know what...even when it was my mistake Joey fixed it for me.

I know from experience dealing with other Salvage yards most of which are absolute asshats that Joey's shop is in a totally different league. He goes out of his way for all customers. THUMBS UP here

nice posts guys! thanks! we switched to dhl due to the most unproffesional service constantly from ups, we spent thousands a year with them (like 20-30k on average) and they SUCKED, they damaged hoods, lost stuff, dhl hasnt damaged one hood yet, ups broke every other one, if not more, then to really burn my buns they would cover 75% of the damage claims, leaving me to eat them
in case you havent noticed, 90% of any complaints are the same 10 jackass's from YEARS ago, yes i get about ONE person MAYBE two a YEAR that i cannot or will not work with.
you write me and say, joe, somethings wrong i will bend over backwards to make it right, you write me calling me an ******* cause ups damaged yopur package and what ****ty service you got and guess what? you reap what you sow.
theres a humna being at the end of the keyboard.
DHL has been outstanding so far AND THERE COSTS HAVE BEEN MUCH CHEAPER! we werent expecting that, but literally our costs wen down at least 600+ a MONTH in shipping, so this year, like others, the cost of parts will continue to go DOWN not up.
robert sl2 yes if you get a hard whack itll knock the alingment out of the unibidy frame rails, a quick pull on a machine, bring the new one with you, and they should line it up, dont let a frame shop nail you, it should be about 200.00, some are getting ridiculous, charging a flat rate of 150.00 a set up, set up is no diffrent then pulling a car on a lift, they pull it on and put 4 chains on it, dont go to a shop with that labor rate.
jpjr, if yours wasnt really hard hit you may be ok, about 80% canm get installed without body/frame work.
we ONLY send out cradles form rear hit or light hit fronts that go above the headlights, then we have a tool thats similar to a large X that we lay across, if all 4 points line up then its a winner.
considering we send out 3-400 orders a MONTH id say we got a damn good record.
i got a woman recently, she ordered a 92 sc
i CLEARLY WROTE WE DO NOT PROMISE OPR BASE THE SALE ON COLOR, she said she had teal, no damnit, i know whats teal and whats seafoam.
this womans parts were delivered 48 hours after ordering, she wrote me PRAISING me the mint condition the parts were in BUT then she said, oh i must have asked for the wrong color, will i return them, i gave her 50 bucks off the roder to begin with for a nose and a fender, by the time you subtract shipping both ways and restocking fee i told her she could EASILY find a paint shop to blow two peices for about 100.00, maybe 150.00 tops...
oh no, even though SHE ADMITTED her mistake i spent HOURS on email, no, i would NOT take them back simply becaseu NONE OF OUR EXTERIOR PARTS SALES ARE BASED ON COLOR AT ALL, it is simply a courtesy when we can
she actually had the cohones to put a complaint on paypal! they closed the case after i sent them the emaisl clearly showing she admitted to ordering the wrong color, but this hits the web and of COURSE itll be twisted.
ive given up on defending myself and i espcially cant stand when somone asks for a referral on other site and people that have NEVER ordered from me will bad mouth me, cuase they MAY have heard a one sided argument
have i told people to **** off, gee 40 THOUSAND saturn customers on file, you think ANYONE could keep all of them happy?
it was nice to see this post. thanks guys!
