| Joey's Picture Send - TKT Custom Fuel Rail!!! ok gang.......here they are!!!!!!! this is the custom fuel rails for tkt 0014
and 0015, i want to stress, this was the first design and the
welder did not listen to my instructions to angle it lower
im posting it now and on the site to show people that making
higher hp is NOT rocket science, simply add more fuel, more air
(turbos my favorite way to add more air!) and you get more hp! http://www.uniforcestaffing.com/6thplanet/fuelrail3.jpg the revised edition will have the two extra injectors mounted
on the FRONT, over the saturn factory valve cover, normally i
wouldnt post an un perfected product but we wanted you guys to
see the quality of whats going out here, what can be done with
some basic mechanical knowledge. notice the WELDS, done by A
REAL WELDER, mads props to floyds welding, as you can see his
work is simply beautiful.
by adding two extra injectors that kick on at 3/4 throttle you
are introducing 50% more fuel, you dont need a complicated run
system or to crack the saturn pcm, they dont pulse like the
other 4, simply on, or off. when they kick, its like having the
secondarys of a 4 barrel kick on, the added fuel cools the
charge thus allowing far more boost then a slap on turbo kit
without any extra fuel delivery. http://www.uniforcestaffing.com/6thplanet/fuelrail2.jpg this is where they final design will place them, equally
measured to deliver the fuel without running any cyls leaner
then the other, nor do you want them to kick on to early as
they will bog the engine. http://www.uniforcestaffing.com/6thplanet/fuelrail1.jpg

| It is very cool indeed. I have 2 Q's. How will it connect to the fuel system? and will the direction of the spray affect anything or does it matter?

| is the intake manifold stock or P&P? also with the turbo is there a need for a larger throttle body?
looking good joey...can't wait to hear the final result.

| Are you planning on offering this as a surface to FI people? I have been considering the CCA kit on a new motor, and something like that would rock! |

| is this included with the custom manifold? what is the base price? it looks bad ass and i hope it proves to offer the same in performance. i wonder how muchmore performace can be acheived with a apexi safc |

| hey guys, glad you all liked it! tommy, it will cnnect via simple fitting that tees of to the fuel delivery line before the regulator, like i said, they dont pulse like the others, these bad boys just come ON, lol
yes the manifold, along with the rest of the engine parts for tkt 0014 and 0015 are fully ported and polished, the head, intakes, gaskets are match ported, etc. these engines with the extra fuel delivery wil allow for some serious boost, with the engiens designed with the custom spec ross pistons and crower rods they ar ebeing amde to handle boost and most important, last and be RELIABLE.
the custom fuel rail WITH the injectors allready on it is being offered for 300.00, thats dirt cheap compared to what some other parts cost that dont allow half the performance gains these do.
these will work with any high compression, turbo, s/c , naws motor.
i been doing stuff like this for years with z cars and other high performance motors ive built, this is the first time on saturns that soem customers have cut me loose to realyl show what can be done, this stuff aint cheap (the motors) but when i calculated the price i was actually OFF, both engines at this point are more a labor of love then anything, theres no profit for the price i charged.
this goes to show, performance costs money,. if your fortunate like tom or me to know what your doing obviously you can cut labor cost out but the parts alone TO DO IT RIGHT, are very expensive.
they will kick on with a electro magnetic switch, very similar to a naws switch at 3/4 throttle, i usually have to dial them in, to early, the car bogs, to late, melted pistons. they haev to come on as its going into boost at 7 lbs and UP.
i have also done this using a vacuum switch, the vacuum switch detects boost and kicks them in also, but i have found them not to be as accurate as the electric switch.

| Ok, couple questions here just so im clear on what your doing joey. THe injectors are going into the top/front of the intake manifold if im understanding it right, and there are only 2 unmetered fuel injectors that come on at im guessing a preset rpm, or are they running all the time? Have they been flowed through the intake manifold to make sure that they are not pouring more into one runner than the other? The reason im asking is because the air comes in going from the right to left through the plenum. Fuel is heavier than air but still not a extremely heavy liquid. With air coming in as fast as it is, it looks like it will be blowing fuel accross the intake manifold instead of straight through the runners which can cause two problems im thinking. 1, rich in the number 1 and probably either 2 or 3, hard to tell unless you know the air speed through the manifold, and 2, lean condition through atleast #4, if not 4 and 3 both. Im just curious as to how your sure that wont happen? (Just constructive questioning, not a flame or anything,lm just curious as to how it's all going towork) Thanks man!
