| Lots o' mileage... Just got back from a one night road trip with the band. Did 900 miles in around 12 hours. Now my damned car's got a bottom end knock (I think, could be lifters/springs) again. I've rebuilt the motor 2 in the past couple of years already, I don't think I want to do it again.
IF the motor is pooched, (again) I won't be buying another Saturn, new or used.
Damn, damn, damn, damn!

| Oil starvation? Nope. lots of oil flowing, or at least there had better be. I've been taking good care of the little beast and nothing should be getting gummy or blocked yet.
We'll see what happens I guess.

| This may sound retarded, but what kind of oil filter are you using? Please tell me not a Fram. I know someone who had one on and their engine developed a knock, changed the oil and filter to Ac delco, no more knock. Supposedly the Fram filters do not have some kind of pressure valve or something, from what I've heard. |

| Not 100% sure who manufactured the filter. It's the parts shop's house brand. Usually pretty good. Sometimes I'll use Fram, or another name brand.
