| man, no saturnspot tomorrow? that SUCKS! man, ill be in withdrawl, sniff sniff, ill miss you guys! LOL
man, were slammed, as we were trying to wrap bobs car up we had like 6 people walk in at once, not to mention ****loads of orders! (cant complain though, busy and thats GOOD, thanks to you guys!) tomorrow i gotta rol outta here by 9, a first for donuts, i dont even make it to court on time, hell, the guys at pro power have created a new time zone for me, its called joey central time, which is 2 hours after whatever time i say ill be somewhere, THEIR learning! <grin>
i got a dentist aptt to find out about a bridge so one day i might eat like a normal man again, i didnt "qualify" for permanent implants due to bone loss from my disease, they said i dont have enough bone mass between the sinus cavity and it would require major surgery to insert plates or some ****, so basically those teeth i lost are really gone for good...sigh
i DO have alot of pictures for you guys, if i wasnt walking in at 10 id try and get them to celtic but yall got to sit tight for a couple days, theres no letting up this week, its balls to the wall 24/7 till saturn-day.
billys dropping a motor in, im running around, auction friday, got a 99 sc that i need parts off so i gotta haul that one, tomorrows finishing the orders and handling the overflow from getting rained out monday, happy to report, bobs on his way home! temporary, we need to break him in to dial up some serious boost, hell malice whupped my ass tonight! LOL,i told him to CHERISH it cause it wont happen again! bastard even won 5 bucks! hahahaha but he DID bring me a christmas card, nice of you justin! had a good time hanging out to amongst the madness.
bobs car is fast as **** but does need some exhaust before i can really turn up the heat, we had the ****er so cherry hot we had to cut off the 19.99 wal mart super flow made in china POS muffler he had on there, want to talk about back pressure? it DROPPED his temp guage a full 1/4 to HALF gauge after we cut it off, also, i feel the fans with the kit are to small for this application the size of them are very small compared to the blade size of stock, even, if you read this how does your car run? with the cca kit and what boost are you at (were breaking in at 6 PSI right now, going to 12 when done) his car NEEDS a damn thermal r+d!
anyways folks, its late im dog tired, ill chat with yall tomorrow...night....

| Joey, as you know, I have the cca kit at 5 psi for now. It runs great and almost no heating problems. The only heating problem is if I am just sitting there and it will only go a tad above half, other then that it is fine. |

| hi evan, thanks man, im tapping 6-7 during break in right now, thats when we get hot too is at idle, plenty of flow. im just going to let her all settle in and attack it with a fresh exhaust and after break in dial it up.
(and maybe some custom fans, also the air filter could be relocated over about 6 inchs, out kit came right over the j pipe, 4 inchs of pipe would put it in a much sweeter area, yours close to?)

| Yep! Tom H. is going to give me some pipe to move it more in front of the battery. And Joey, I must say you are doing a great job on Bob's car. I still can't wait till you have my car in your shop. I give you the most Kudos ever!!! |

| thanks man, bobs engine is the ****ing bomb, bulletproof, right now its dialing it in and working out bs like that that was taking time, we had to make custom heat sheilds to for the a/c, im still not quite sure im happy with them and may revamp them with cooling fins cut in it. also, dont forget, each kit is difftrent so i may be working out bugs on the 97 sl that are prefectly fine with your set up.
but the motor with all that work is simply tits man, not one detonation even when playing around, i once cracked it up to 9 psi yesterday and she was like, bring it ON man....

| That is so sweet! I am glad to hear you are getting all the kinks worked out, with out too much trouble. I was even thinking of going back to UPS and put all that money away for my engine. LOL!! And I hated it there. |

i beat it from a standstill 3 times (at least)
i beat it from a rolling start (20 mph) once
and after joeys smart assed "see if you can catch us now" i ran the thing down and pasted it from a 7-8 car handicap.
believe me i am going to cherrish tonight. tonight is the night that the worlds fastest street legal saturn, TKT00015 got it's ass repeatedly handed to it by a station wsgon with a 1/4 million miles on it.
you should have seen the lookes we got at the rest stop on the way home, when we popped the hood "a turbocharged saturn...thats crazy"
oh well...must be the rally stripes. |
