I'm glad you asked.

95 bc you can get an intake with and I think you can get the 92 header with a 95 I THINK 94 and before you can only have a custom intake(not as good)

98 bc some parts you can't get with a 99 and 98 you cant get the 92 header with out a lot of money.

96 is ok, I'm not sure if you can get the 92 header.

97?? i just did not like them that year.

Hahah my 94 SL2 had an intake i bought from XRC...it wasnt custom made....and im sure 92 and 93 DOHC cars are the same...your thinking of SOHC cars, which im gonna stay away from...the 2.2L soch is slow enough, much less an 1.9....sorry for you SL1 owners but thats just my opinion

so anyways, I would go with a 96-98 DOHC myself if I were in your position. The reason I say this is b/c in 96 the 2nd gen SL came out and looked a bit more modern than the 1st gen. and also, you can't use the 92 header on anything newer than a 98 DOHC due to the bolt pattern change on the 99+ heads. If I were to choose, I'd go with either a 96 SC2 or 97/98 SC2. Anyways get whatever makes you happy. We all have our differences and I'm sure whatever you get will definitely make you happy. Good luck.

theres more info on the SL2 the miles arent bad for a 97, the outside and inside looks like it been well taken care of.

the SC2 I would get more info on it... more pictures... if your really interested go drive the cars and see which one drives and feels better.
look under the hood and check them both out thoroughly....

Good Luck with your decision.

Wow...and you own a Saturn??

I had a 94 Sc2-no custom intake-I bought mine off of pro car parts for 60 bucks and now I'm using it on my 97!

92 on a 95? Only if you go to a junkyard, grab a 92 off of a 92 Saturn (that's why it's called a "92" header and put it on a 95. In 1993 they went to the uni-pipe, not the dual pipe like the 92. 1997? Well...if you like teh 1998, THE 1997 CAR IS IT'S TWIN

Sorry to rant, but check up on these things before you post them.

U really are brain dead, aren't u? Where do u come up with your facts? Think about what you're sayin before u start runnin off at the mouth next time. And what difference do u see in a 97 and a 98? This oughta be a good one.
