Default My beautiful spoiler

At some time before I bought my car someone painted the original spoiler flat black. Why? I don't know. Anyway, I wasn't too concerned with it until I was at the carwash, today.

The high pressure from the wash wand sort of removed a good 1/3 of the paint from the top of the spoiler. Hmm... Well, that looked pretty trashy, so I decided to do something about it. I brought it home and sanded all of the cheap black paint off of it. So now I have this half primer, half purple spoiler on the back of my car. Hey, it sure beats having one with peeling paint. Now it just looks like a work in progress instead of a peeling piece of crap.

The question is, how should I repaint it? The purple paint is kind of hard to find in a rattle can, and I don't have any of my painting equipment here in Washington. So, here's a picture. Help me figure out what to do with it.

take it to a paint shop, can't cost much to do just a spoiler.

Nah, they want way too much for that. It'd be almost 150 bucks to paint it to match the car. And to be honest, the rest of the paint is crap. I'll probably repaint the entire car in the future and I'll have the spoiler painted to match, then. I'm just trying to figure out some temporary options.

Anyone know where to find this colour in a spray can? Duplicolor's site is whacked out. Showed my paint colour as being beige. Beige?! That's the funniest looking beige I've ever seen. Maybe I need my eyes checked.

Just repaint it black again, just with some better paint. On a purple car it shouldnt look to bad.

for some reason I wasn't able to access that painscratch website. Anyways, the company I got some touchup paint through was NMB paint

http://www.nmbpaint.com/order.htm

it's about $20 after shipping for a 16oz can of matched paint.
