| how do you get to pay the 100 in court costs, unless you actually go to court to try and fight it...and IMO for 10 MPH over the insurance company dont care.....they only care when you get hammered by points. trust me. ive gotten pulled over, ticketed, 1 accident, and kinda know about this crap.
put it this way....
1 speeding ticket 57 in a 35 which was dropped in warren court to 49 in a 35 (2 points, $200 fine). no drastic changes in insurance
month later accident in edison (my car towed due to fropnt left susension being fukked IE bent lower control arm and strut...$400 in damage to my car. broken bumper lens on hindu's car from ontario...never reported it to my insurance company for 2 reasons 1. did repairs myself and 2. he was from quebec) that was 5 insurance points (different from moving violation points. and no change in my policy rates except maybe a few dollars, but nothing drastic
march 03 i got a speeding ticket on 78 for doing 89 in a 65 at 10/11PM. 4 points for speeding and $200 fine. never went to fight this one in court because i figured the judge would have looked at me laughed and said are you fukkin nuts tryin to get this dropped. once policy ended 10 months later i was forced into goin onto the state policy which is $4000/yr with like $1000 down...could be more since you car needs full covereage since its bein finanaced. my car is my 95 SL1 wit liability covereage and thats it.

idk.. but it says fine $10, court costs $100, total $110.. and all this crap about how i am innocent untill proven guilty, but i can just plead guilty and pay it.... doesnt really make sense to charge me for court time i didnt use.. but they got me by the balls so...
and IMO for 10 MPH over the insurance company dont care....

| I dont know much about NC Laws, but from what I gather in California, the 100 court fees are mainly for the paperwork a ticket generates. If you want to keep from getting tickets, then get a job where you deal with law enforcement. So far this year, I have been pulled over at least six times for speeding, when the cops that pull me over and saw my Casino ID badge, they let me off with a warning. The last time, I got pulled over for doing 55 mph in a 30. Cop waited until I was in the Casino parkinglot to pull me over, then let me go since I was at work.
