I got my first speeding ticket tonight.

80mph in a 70mph

Its a bunch of BS. People were passing me at way faster then I was going, i ws trying to not get hit by traffic, but I have out of state plates and got singled out.

I guess the tropper was looking for a big christmas bonus by giving out lots of tickets that he knew nobody was going to fight.

Its stupid IMO. $10 fine and $100 in court costs. Its real obvious that they are just out to get the yankees.

Anyways.. **** happens, time to look into defensive driving course to get the points off the record and overtime to pay the insurance.

Just thought you guys would like to know. Let the flaming begin~!

then screamed "EATONTOWN FOREVER!" and sped off, taking him on a nine hour back-road rally race.

p.s- if i ever get stopped, i wanna say something like "SIR! CAN'T YOU SEE SHE'S PREGNANT!? WE HAVE TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL NOW SIR!", then look to my empty passenger seat, and floor it, knocking him over with my amazingly fast and powerful stock exhaust. woot woot.

Check into the state laws. In CA if you take traffic school after a ticket, it gets completely wiped off your record. Not even the insurance company can see it.

Yeah, I have to go to defensive driving course by mid-february, but I deserved my punishment

i always wanted to take drivers ed and drive all crazy and fail it but its like 125$ were i live and thats to much to fail ......

Every time i head a cop story i just keep thinking the seen from *Super Troopers* when the officers keep saying *meow* - only 10$? i totally agree with Mr. Jeep doesn't seem worth it

its the court costs to bring in extra revenue to the town
