My ISP is CRAP

I swear its ever day its something and we had em over 5 yrs and right now they have a log showing there down? but i can vist Saturnspot.com and thats ALL no e-mail no aim no yahoo just saturnspot. this is so freaking retarded after today i am switching Isp maybe to earthlink?

whatever u do dont get earthlink..... i tried to get earthlink once and after 6 months of them jerking us around we still didnt have any internet i dont think we ever got it at all but i moved so im not sure but cmon 6 ****ing months it took 4 just for them to send us our motem then there was no service and they said it was the telephone companies fault so we called the telephone company and they told us they had nothing to do with it at all..... they are a bunch of cocksmokers dont get earthlink......

i also have issuses with aol but only cause they charge double what every one else charges for the same or less quality internet service.....

I use bellsouth DSL, very very few problems with them. at&t broadband is supposed to be good as well

I use earthlink cable and have no problems with it. We got free installation so ours was installed the day after we called free of charge. Minimal down time, an dit is usually in the middle of he night anyways.

And SC1, from what you describe, can only load SS and nothing else, you might check for viruses, worms, errors etc on your computer. There should be no reason that you can load one webpage just fine but not another that would have anything to do with the ISP. Do you have a firewall blocking the ports AIM etc use to communicate?

no the isp is down so i cancled them. i went with peoplepc for now.
