Ok heres what that bastage keeps doing to me:

"The PHP configuration on your server doesn't support the database type that you chose"

As far as I know I've entered in all my information correctly.

It gave me some choices for "database type" in the install part of phpBB but I get that same friggin message with all of em when trying to install.

My host is with godaddy.com. Do their databases support forums and such?
what did you put as your database type? try using "localhost"

I put mysql.3 or whatever that first option is. I tried all the database options though to no success. I'll try that localhost thing. Thanks for helping me with this.

Man no luck. I still keep getting that same message.

Hey could I be uploading to the wrong place? I used an ftp file transfer thingy to uplaod the phpBB folder to my WEBSITE host and ran the install from there. Should I be uploading it differently?

Dang man I don't know. I called Godaddy.com tech support and got no where. The dude said that some of the php software or whatever will make tables for you and that I might need some tables before the software will work if the one I'm using doesn't.

I'm lost, the opportunity for a forum was one of the main reasons I put up the stinking site lol. This sucks.
