Not true, I hate MTV, and barely watch TV as it is. Didnt have cable/satellite til I went to college, and even then, my tv viewing is limited to SciFi channel, reno 911 and the news. I just found the movie to be hilarious, regardless of who made it. Actually, its probably the other way around... MTV lovers probably hated this movie, since its mostly anti-cool.
