Nasty homepage problem with parents computer. Little brother
found out what a lola is lol. For some reason www.free-lola.com has set itself as a homepage and it can't be undone. I've deleted cookies, changed in under internet settings to a differnet page and I've tried cleaning out all the interent files that I could but it still comes back if you restart the computer. I did a search for any files that might relate to that site but could find anything suspicious.
first off when you delete your cookies it usually only deletes the temp ones. There are also offline cookies that you need to delete too. if using ie go to tools- internet options then delete files, there will be a check box to delete all offline content, click on it to place a check in it. At the top of the dialogue box you can change your homepage to whatever. once you change it you have to click apply to apply the changes, then click ok.

I havent done that to my CPU in quite some time now there where tons oh files thanks for the remind!
Ahh, sounds like you are going to have to delete free-lola.com from the registry, this is the latest trick in getting porn to you from the internet, make the changes in the registry so the you can't get away from it till you spend hours scrubbing for it, manually.
