we saw charlies board go from 300 memebrs to what? 2000 yet? the other boards have 800-1000 members, Id like to see that in one year or better! and Id hope that most of us are active, one thing I have always admired about saturnfans is that charlies site always does have a lot of good stuff about new relaease from saturn, news about saturns, even up to date recalls on saturns, REAL saturn information! if you guys dig around and try WE can make this a really HOT site.
we know where our strengths and weakness's are, we have very good knowledge about allot of each other, our posts style etc. I think saturnspot is the IN spot!
funny, I havent really released this yet but ironicall I have NEW business guys, why is it ironic, cause about a week ago I opened hondaspot inc! now, ok, whoa, damn it, don't tie me to a treee and crucify me yet! theres A REASON i did it one, monetary, when I opened 6th i was the one and only, when m+ s came it was cool, they didnt bash on me i didnt bash on them we basically hasd our own customers and still to this day you cant find one post anywhere of us bashing each other ( unreal with my rep? <grin>) but, when the copycats, the hacks, the guys withb 4 cars in their driveway claiming to be experts you could say it DILUTED the market, so, I had access to a boatload of late model honda and acuras, a business associate of mine builds high end gsr's and stuff, so I opened this to doversify, i wont be putting the time into it I do 6th but I am very serious about it and we even landed a COOL web name, topnotchusedparts,.com! craigs working on the site right now (yet ANOTHER DAMN crazy canuck!)
dont worry, PROMISE not to try and convert anyone to honda-ism! were the saturn-ites remeber?!
Ill show you guys as soon as the new sites launched it will be a new side gig for me, wish us luck!
But, THE GOOD news is Iwill be stepping up with brett to moderate sevral of the boards here, i also understand sps will be doing a parts section or something, I for one would really like to see that, any interest in the saturn aftermarket is in OUR best interest, correct?
next, after dinner tonight I stopped by a friends shop, hs taking 3 wrecked vipers and making one, when I went there he was building some god awful 4 wd tow truck creation thingy when it hit me, me and him got junk, LOTS of it, all diffrent kinds, we know how to design,m fabricate and do odd things, what I ask you, would happen if monster garage and junkyard wars WAS COMBINED?
you fill in the blanks, Im all ears....

glad to see everyone's getting along. joey it's cool opening up a 2nd bus. providing for the family is the the #1 thing. as long as we still get good deals

me to nelson, i was in back when charlies board even had flame wars, check the posts, after doing my fair share of flaming I was oneof the MAIN ones that pushed that we take up as the family where saturn left off, as saturn cancled homecomings it was I that wanted to do homecomings at my shop or land as the first ground brealing ceremony went, it was small, the first year, but we rented a block of KILLER cottages at a BAD TO THE BONE resort that EVERYONE ENJOYED staying at, we had it catered by a kick ass bbg resatruant, etc. we are going to do another show, this times its coming this fall, at a beach near me with unlimited parking, babes (ft myers beach is a well known spring break town and the guys who went there last time all reported girls girls girls anmd good times at ft meyrs ebach, we went and did some drag racing and we had trophys, it was the first saturn only show with trophys that I know of come to think of it! hell, all this time and i dont think ANYONE put on a saturn only car show with trophys and categorys, correct me if im wrong.
this year the show will be held RIGHT on the beach, and well work out the details, after 12 years of being the last standing bachelor, we decided to tie the knot so thats another big party to be planned, thats next april and Ill fill you in another time, but with the newn baby (and pre nups LOL) we are going to do it after a 4or 5 year engagment!hahha think Im a LITTLE gunshy?

Man I still have that sign in the back window of the wagon, and I stick those flyers ya sent me under sattie wipers all over pittsburgh...

I'm not here to drum up some poo... that's old high school kid stuffs man and I'm damn near 30 now... so skip all that...

I just wanted to point out that in that post I was asking you to come back and do what you've always done best man, help with the technical know how and getting us plastic drivers the quality parts we need

Good... Project needs no enemies over some stupid crap that went down months and months ago...

I intend to leave that junk lie where it has been for weeks... in the dirt, it's old, it's outdated and it's plain old gettin on my nerves...

Not that it woulda mattered if ya did hate me... but It's better to have team players ya know...

Anyways... I'm definitely cool with a no bs board...

So expect to see my sometimes smiling face round here...

I have been to the other Saturn boards and have not spent much time with them for one reason or another. Mostly bulletin boards take too long to go through on a slow dialup connection.

At the request of Joey at 6th Planet, I have decided to join up and take a look around.

This board has a nice, new look and feel to it and doesn't seem to take to long to load.

Good luck in the coming months and hopefully this will be a quality board without a bunch of crap.

hey man, Im about to ask you in private email, wanna moderate the events and clubs section? your a spoc officer, spoc could use someone announcing things and it would take all of about 4 minutes every couple a days!
