Ordinarily, insurance would have paid for my car after it had been gone for thirty days. In this case, I had a fake insurance company. This was the very same company that I signed up with at the dealership when I bought the car new. As soon as I tried to file a claim I started getting the run around. All they had was a machine answering the phone for claims, no one ever returned my calls. After a while I finally started digging up info and came to find out that they were not licensed to operate in the state and that their "underwriter" has never even heard of them. Nope, my insurance company was a scam. So all this time I was paying 1300 bucks a year, I never really had coverage at all and there isn't really anything that I can do about it.

My finance company has been having cows and kittens over it. Ugh. No, I'm afraid that if I ever do see money for this, it will be a long time from now.

Anyway, you're right. I guess I'll just leave the clutch alone and worry about flushing the brakes and the steering. Can anyone tell me if the power steering fluid reserve tank is directly involved in the flow of fluid? if so, I may be able to get away with just siphoning out fluid and replacing it with new stuff over and over again until everything is clear. Also, what's the spec for this fluid? I'd look it up in my owner's manual if they hadn't made it disappear from the car.

Would that airbox work on a 2001 SOHC? I'm not sure if it would. I'd be very interested in it if it would work. I haven't been able to find one around here yet. As a matter of fact, the local dealer told me that I do not even want to think about buying a new one. LOL. They suggested that one of the aftermarket ones would be far cheaper and apparently an improvement. And all this time I thought it would end up being some sort of warranty issue if I installed one. Oh well, if I had, they undoubtedly would have snagged it as well. Must have been the K&N sticker that made them take it.

Undoubtedly they've tried pawning it somewhere as a performance intake. Hmm... Someone probably fell for it, too.
