Default new shift knob

Woohoo, I finally decided to replace my two-tone OBX leather shift knob. It's a nice shift knob but I didn't like the shape of it, I prefer the spherical shape of a shift knob to be far superior to the way I like to shift. So, after glancing and gazing for the longest time, i finally decided to go out and purchase a momo sphere shift knob. It's the same one as Crash has, but instead of the satin finish, I opted for the black leather one. Since no damn stores ever have that one knob in stock, I ordered it so the guy said it will be here tomorrow morning. I put a $50 deposit on it so that I won't lose it. He only ordered 3 in for stock. I got a really good deal on it too. Damn it is a nice shifter knob.

For those of you who don't know what it looks like, let me show you.

I am replacing my OBX shifter with the momo. The OBX shifter is the anatomical-R shifter as pictured below. Its the one in the middle row, farthest left. It's ok but I only got it b/c it was leather and I got a great deal.

I also feel like swapping out the leather boot I have. I currently have a black leather boot in there that I replaced the OEM vinyl boot, but now I want a black suede boot. I'll have to wait on this for now though. Any opinions?

good choice. Now that I think about it, i wish i hadn't shortened my auto shifter, instead, i wish i had extended it about 10 inches. My gf has a 91 tempo and the shifter is on the floorboard but the knob is at seat level. I want to go out and shorten hers about 12 inches so she would have to reach down to the floor board to shift....that would be funny was hell.
